Taking Care of God's blessings
What’s the point?
This is all about STEWARDSHIP! What made me so joyful in cleaning these cars is that it was a material tool from our Heavenly Dad! Its a tool to use to bring honor to His name and make more disciples for Jesus!
Ever since I have it shifted that EVERYTHING I HAVE is not mine and was just handed over as a loan, the way I look at all these blessings (material, spiritual, mental, physical) just turned around for good!
I started TRULY taking care of them! Each time i clean these cars, for this specific material blessing, i self talk “Lord this is yours…and I am making sure you’ll see it beautiful each time and every time as much as I could take care of it!”
It just inspired me! What seems to be burdensome in the past becomes inspirational for me. That truly SPELLED OUT the difference! How would you like to clean the cars of your ALMIGHTY GOD? And when He sees your beautiful works He’ll say WELL DONE MY FAITHFUL SERVANT! Wow!
Ok do not get me wrong here…we are not in any way EARNING GRACE here…the gift of SALVATION has been given thru our Lord Jesus Christ. What I was POINTING out here is LEARNING TO VALUE what our GOD gave us. It was never wrong to be THANKFUL. Our gratitude should bring us to this place of INSPIRATION to TAKE CARE OF THESE BLESSINGS. It ain’t HARD LABOR. Its GRATITUDE.
SO TO ALL FOLLOWING ME, been TEACHING EVERYBODY to ask God to PREPARE US when we ask for something. A BIG BLESSING means BIG RESPONSIBILITY. BIG RESPONSIBILITY means BIGGER WORK.
So if you are wondering why there ain’t no BREAKTHROUGH happening in your LIFE…get an inventory first…
WHAT ARE THE THINGS GOD ALREADY GAVE YOU?
Start from the SMALLEST…
DO NOT FOCUS ON MATERIAL THINGS! FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE!
BLESSINGS ARE NOT JUST MATERIALS! THE MATERIALS are just the OBVIOUS but its just ONE PART of the MULTITUDE BLESSINGS GOD has given us ALONGSIDE the SALVATION we received FREELY from the death of our LORD JESUS CHRIST!
Write them down….ALL OF THEM…
MATERIAL, SPIRITUAL, RELATIONSHIPS, MENTAL, PHYSICAL…a lot!
Then alongside each blessings….WRITE DOWN…HOW HAVE YOU TAKEN CARE OF IT? Taking CARE OF IT SIGNIFIES the VALUE YOU HAVE PLACED on it…
COME ON…do this please…BE HONEST.
Check your scores ad reflect. Ask God to help you value WHAT HE GAVE. He will I am sure…ITS HIS ANYWAY. The HAPPIEST FATHER is the one who sees his children VALUE HIS WORKS.
